About me

When I was little I wanted to be a comic book artist but eventually realised that I didn’t have the skills to back it up. I eventually came across graphic design and quickly became obsessed with it. I knew that I wanted to work as a designer and I wanted to get started as quickly as possible.Unfortunately at the time I was still in school.

My parents knew the owner of local design studio that expressed interest in taking me in as an apprentice. I just had to wait a bit for a position to become available. I dropped out of high school at 16. I was tired of going to school and was just waiting for the position to become available so I could start my journey into design, so I got a job. Might as well earn some money while waiting.

After spending two years waiting for the position at the design studio to get available, I grew tired of waiting and decided to start myself. I went back to school, learned graphic design and how to draw from attending different courses and eventually got a 6 month internship at a Danish Games Magazine called Gamereactor.

Gamereactor was a small business run by two brothers and given the small team I was able to try many different things during my internship. After my internship I got hired full time and ended up working there for 5 years doing everything from designing magazines to creating digital display ads for their website to working as an editor and camera man for the video department.

It’s now been 18 years since I started at Gamereactor and I have been working in many different sectors and have many different titles in that time. I have worked for 6 years as an editorial art director on 7 different magazines.

I have worked as a digital design and motion designer for various ad agencies in Copenhagen.

I have also run my own business as a freelancer full time for several years but now I work as a Senior Product Designer at the biggest ecommerce company in the Nordics, where I work on the design of our consumer facing products like the webshops and the apps.
